Here is what you need to know about academic support at the University of Kentucky.
Academic Advising
Students who have been admitted to a program should contact your program representative found on your program’s page within the UK Online website to find out who is your assigned academic advisor.
Placement Testing
The Academic Preparation and Achievement (APA) program provides placement testing for incoming students who have not yet met statewide minimum test scores or high school GPA requirements for college readiness.
Disability Resource Center
The Disability Resource Center works with all students to document disabilities and communicate accommodations to faculty.
Distance Learning Library Services
Library services, such as full-text online databases, book loans, and research assistance, are available to online students at the Distance Learning Library page.
GRE Prep Seminar
Transformative Learning offers free ETS-certified virtual GRE Prep Seminars for UK students.

Find Online Courses
To find online courses, visit the Course Catalog, select the relevant term, and click on “Advanced Search Options”. Select “Fully online sections offered”, and search using any of the available options.
UK Bookstore
Your course textbooks may be purchased online from the UK Bookstore page and mailed directly to your home.
