Blunderbusters
Shoot your friends (at your enemies).
Blunderbusters is a micromanagement strategy game with an emphasis on wave survival. Players will manipulate creatures (called “Busters”) to fight off waves of enemies. By default, Busters will simply launch themselves at the waves of enemies, but players can build structures that upgrade the Busters, allowing the Busters to take on increasingly deadly waves of enemies. This game was made in two weeks for Pirate Software game jam #16, where it received an Honorable Mention. Unfortunately that does mean there are some bugs :)

Controls
The game is primarily mouse-controlled.
- You can click and drag a Buster to move it around.
- Drag to select a group of Busters, then if you drag a member of that group, all the other Busters will follow. ;
- If dragging isn't your style, you can click on Structures to have the nearest Buster fly towards it.
- Clicking a button on the Build Bar will bring up a template of the building you have selected. Click again on the field to build that building. You can't build on top of other buildings or outside the field.
- You can right-click to cancel building
- You can press Escape for a menu
- You can control the game speed with the controls to the left of the Build Bar
Gameplay Tips
- Most Structures require one or more Busters to have walked into the Structure's light/circular patch of grass before activating
- Build several Houses early; you need those Busters to keep your enemies at bay and your economy moving

After draging around 100 busters or playing too long I can't do a thing with structures or busters... And the game itself starts heavenly lagging.
And sound gets worse with time.
This one was a good / fun run.
In the end the 2 top right buildings had the demolition button on, and they didnt work, I also couldn't demolition any other building after that so It was basically done
On my third attempt I quickly amassed an impenetrable defense. even after encountering a bug where i could no longer click on buildings or deconstruct them. 8 apartments a few combat buildings 4 recyclers, a casino, 6 houses. I have every upgrade, infinite money that I can't spend because I can't remove any weaker buildings. 500 busters at any one time. The enemies scaling ceilingis too low to ever die at this rate. Loved the game. I would pay for a challenging version of this with a tad bit more variety. Very fleshed out for what it is.
Good idea. but scaling up on enemy side is just too high, it goes to situation that very fast you have just a pear of dudes but bunch of enemies. It feels like I cant grow population and the town anymore
Lil Guys THE GAAAME. This game is so cute. The pixel art, music, and sfx are done so well. I love when you touch them and some of them say undoubtably and other phrases. The tutorial was pretty straightforward which I appreciated and felt no confusion in what was instructed. Font was a little hard to read. I would suggest a toggle to switch from stylized to something with less glow? Overall great jam entry and ty for letting me push the lil guys around on the start screen.
Now this is a fresh approach. Really enjoayed it. Tinkering around and try ideal combinations is a great fun. One thing it can benefit more on that would be if I could sell buildings. Looking forward to the final version!
