FROM THE DEAN:
Welcome. I am excited to launch this new form of communication with our alumni and friends as I embark on my role as Dean of the College of Communication and Information.
I started in this position August 1, 2019, and I’m excited to be a Wildcat. My main goal for my first year is to get to know the College – the story, the people, the community.

One way I want to get to know our stakeholders and build stronger connections with our partners is through monthly communication and open invitations to come back to campus- to visit, to speak to classes, to engage with our faculty and students. We are also working to come to you with events planned in Louisville later this month (see below) and others around the region in the near future.

We will keep you posted on upcoming events, share stories about our amazing faculty and staff and highlight the accomplishments of our brilliant students. We also hope you will share stories with us, by using the “Share a News Item” button below.

I look forward to meeting you, to hearing your story and enlisting your help in building our community. Please feel free to email me at Jennifer.Greer@uky.edu if you would like to connect.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
Nov. 21- If you are in the Louisville-area, please join us for a CI Alumni and Friends reception at the Speed Art Museum from 5 – 7p.m. For more information and to RSVP please click here.

Strategic Planning- We are undertaking our 2020-2025 strategic planning process this fall and spring. We will have opportunities for our alumni and friends to provide their input on our path forward, so please stay tuned.
ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT:
Each month we highlight one of our alumni in our Alumni Spotlight feature on social media and on our homepage. Our featured alum this month is Jacob Tamme. Jacob finished his ISC degree and MBA from UK, all while playing NCAA Division I football for the Wildcats. He went on to spend nine seasons in the NFL. You can see more of Jacob’s bio on our homepage.
