The US publisher of the Harry Potter books is entering its third round of printing for the latest novel, bringing the total to 9.3 million copies.
Scholastic Corp is producing another 800,000 copies of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the fifth book by JK Rowling about the escapades of the boy wizard.
The long-anticipated book sold more than five million copies during its first day on Saturday and also broke UK records, with more than 1,777,000 first-day sales.

In China, 5,000 first editions of the novel sold out despite being written in English and costing a relatively expensive 178 yuan (£12).
"The China International Book Trading Corp (CIBTC) is encouraged by the market response during the last three days and plans to import at least 5,000 more books," said an executive from the CIBTC.
However Chinese script version will not be ready until 1 October, according to the People's Literature Publishing House.
It added it will print at least 500,000 copies of the new book and may reprint the previous four, of which a combined 5.6 million Chinese copies are already in print.

In France, Potter fans will have to wait until 3 December before they can get their hands on a French-language version.
Online sales for the globally popular book have also been huge, with internet retailer Amazon revealing that it took orders for 1.3 million books globally.
Around the world, book stores from Bucharest to Beijing reported high demand, even though the book is currently available only in English.

Before Saturday, almost 200 million copies of the first four books had been sold in 55 languages.
Barbara Marcus, president of Potter's US publisher Scholastic, said: "It is extraordinary to publish this magical book which is being read by millions of children and adults across the country at this very moment.
"Jo Rowling has once again written a novel that will be treasured by many generations to come."
