Honoring Dr. King’s legacy with our actions and our impact
On Monday, our University will honor the abiding legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a day of reflection and service. Our UW community is steeped in the importance of creating impact through public service and sustained effort to build a more equitable, inclusive future for all.
Negative associations with teenagers in AI models
AI models may misrepresent teenagers due to biased media training data. UW researchers found significant cultural differences in AI portrayals, emphasizing the need for culturally responsive, community-driven model training to ensure fairer and more accurate depictions.
