9:02pm CDT (4/19/96) - A tornado ripped through Ogden, Illinois with winds approaching 160 m.p.h. Damage reports indicated primarily F2 damage, with scattered areas of F3. The ILX reflectivity panel above revealed the hook echo associated with the tornadic supercell. A significant mesocyclone signature associated with this tornado was quite apparent in this panel of radar velocities.
