Persons who completed secondary education according to geographic area of residence, by sex

In the region, a significant number of young adults (between the ages of 20 and 24) have not been able to finish secondary school. Its culmination is a basic achievement to enable the integration of people into modern societies and achieve higher levels of well-being. In urban areas, 76% of women and 71% of men have completed this level; that is, 24% and 29% of men have not. In rural areas, 58% of women and 51% of men have finished high school, which means that 42% of women and 49% of men have not achieved it.
