Darach Mac Con Iomaire is an Irish actor, writer and director from
Blackrock, Co. Dublin. He has had significant involvement as an actor,
director and producer at An Taibhdhearc, Galway's Irish language
theatre as well as television work with TG4, the Irish-language
television channel.
Having previously gained recognition for his adaptation of texts for the stage, including An Béal Bocht and Lig Sinn i gCathú;, Darach Mac Con Iomaire came to a wider audience in 2011 when his drama series Corp + Anam was screened on TG4. Mac Con Iomaire wrote and directed four episodes of the series, which received great critical acclaim from both the Irish and English language media.
Darach is currently (2012) writing and developing the feature film - Olagón.
