Another dating episode. Continuing from the previous episode, Mary Tyler Moore is amping up the full comedy performance with the nervous physicality bit.

Mary takes a television journalism class and Rhoda tags along. As often happens, Mary catches the teacher's eye and they start dating. You have to forgive the nature of the sitcom format and the economy of storytelling necessary: their first date is right after the first class and they seem practically engaged by the end of it, but by the next episode the new love interest has been forgotten about.

At least here Michael Tolan is effortlessly cool, attractive and funny as the teacher. As the only real professional in a class of dilettantes, Mary's head swells and she hilariously takes over in class discussions. She talks Lou into presenting to the class in another comic highlight.
