Tony Curtis in their only shared credit, had in the previous decade played Stone Age versions of themselves on
The Flintstones (1960), in the respective episodes
Ann-Margrock Presents (1963) and
The Return of Stony Curtis (1965). Another presenter that evening,
Raymond Burr, in his title role in the classic series
Perry Mason (1957), had provided the basis for another "Flintstones" spoof character, Perry Masonry in the episode
Little Bamm-Bamm (1963), voiced by
Don Messick. The prosecutor in the episode, spoofing
William Talman's character of Hamilton Burger, was named Bronto Burger and was voiced by
Hal Smith.
