Ratings and Reviews
So unstable!
I have the same problem as HCMarks with the ‘oops’ message! It was better for a while, but it’s been awful again for the last few weeks. It’s so frustrating!!!! I know I have rewards, but I can’t see what they are!!
Would also love to see two other improvements to the app:
- allow storage/reload/payment with gift cards in the app
- allow the customer to choose whether they want to redeem a reward at time of purchase; don’t automatically apply it (or at least let us choose if we want to save it for another time!)
It’s like they don’t want your business
This has to be one of the worst apps I’ve seen a business release. First, they won’t allow you to place an order without turning on location services. We’re all capable of finding the store we want by searching. There is no justifiable reason to require my location. Second, trying to sign up for an account doesn’t let you just Sign in with Apple. Whether through incompetence on the developers side or unethical business decisions, you can’t easily use “hide my email”. The only way to use it is to leave the app and go to iOS settings to manually create a private email. This leads to the third problem. I tried this app in the past and apparently hid my email address. I deleted the app and the private email. Now I tried to create a new account with a new private email and it fails because my phone number is already in use with the old email address but they offer no way to recover or delete an account by phone number. Why do they even need a phone number? They know I’m using the app. If they need to contact me, they can do it through the app or by email. Im guessing they just require your phone number so they can collect as many ways to spam you as they possibly can. Seriously Quickchek, if you’re reading this, you need to either fire your developers or your marketing department and start over. Whichever group is responsible for the worst business app I’ve ever seen.
Horrible app
App has the wrong phone number for the store, so, despite ordering for curbside pickup, I still had to go inside. I haven’t been inside any public building since March 13, but it was the only way to get my family’s order. And what good is curbside pickup if you can’t pay through the app and still have to interact with someone to either give them cash or let them handle your credit card? Not to mention, the total given to me on the app did not reflect the actual total, which included tax. I did not know that at the time, so I only brought the exact amount listed on my order into the store with me so I could just hand it over and go as quickly as possible. I had to go back out to my car to get the additional amount and come back into the store, exposing myself for an even longer amount of time. Every other food service business can figure this curb side, contactless pick up out. Why can’t Quick Chek?
