Josh Howard-Tripp joined Bellarmine men’s tennis in the fall of 2024 as a graduate assistant on Will Davis’s coaching staff.
A native of Johannesburg, South Africa, Howard-Tripp began his collegiate career at Arkansas, spending three seasons (2017-20) with the Razorbacks. While at Arkansas, Howard-Tripp recorded 52 total victories with 35 coming in singles play and 17 coming in doubles action. As a freshman, hos 18 singles wins were the second-most on the team while his 11 wins in dual matches were third most. As a sophomore, Howard-Tripp earned three wins at the No. 1 spot during the dual meet season.
After his junior year at Arkansas, Howard-Tripp transferred to the University of Louisville where he played his last two seasons (2020-22). As a Cardinal, he tallied 22 victories, 12 as a single and 10 in doubles. Howard-Tripp was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll twice at UofL while being named an ITA Scholar Athlete as a senior.
