Top+ is our brand new, corporate/business theme was designed with four main goals:

• featuring a modern-looking, clean and colorful design with bold, carefully crafted typography,
• introducing custom modules with functionality suitable to a corporate/business site that several users have brought up, such as our brand new Countdown and Cookie Consent modules,

Brand new Drupal 8 theme distribution for corporate sites now out, with 200+ theme settings

Tourism+ is a brand new Drupal 8 theme, designed for business sites related to the tourism industry; yacht (and not only) rentals, destination-presenting sites and so forth.

For the front-end looks of Tourism+, we worked once again with the wonderful Diana Andreea who was commissioned to create original static designs. As the designs were recreated in Drupal 8 and following usability tests, front-end/CSS experimentation, and some brainstorming on the (endless) possibilities Drupal 8 and its custom block functionality bring, a new layer of interactive design elements was added.

For the functionality we built upon our previous releases and then added some more goodies on top, bundling 200+ theme settings into Tourism+, so that you can kickstart your next Drupal 8 site project, then customize it to your preferences, without the need to mess with code.

Corporate+, one of our most popular theme distributions on Drupal 7, now available for Drupal 8

Ever since its release for Drupal 7 in 2015, Corporate+ has been one of our most popular theme distributions for corporate and business sites built on Drupal. Throughout the time after we switched to Drupal 8 releases, it remained one of our most requested themes for a D8 version.

How to install our Drupal 8 themes on Pantheon

Requirements

• A simple server (local or online),
• Drush,
• A publicly accessible file, using a relevant hosting service (e.g. Dropbox, S3). Other similar services might work, too. It is important that you get a direct link to the file to be used, instead of redirects.

Introduction

Whereas our freebies are, as you might expect, simple themes built on Twig, HTML, CSS and JS, which you can apply on top of your Drupal installation, our premium products are, well, more than just themes (hence our company name); they are complete Drupal theme distributions with business logic.

As a result, our premium Drupal 8 themes bundle Drupal core along with,

Change the color scheme in an individual region of your Drupal 8 theme, in a couple of clicks

Say that you have chosen our Showcase+ theme, to build a brand new Drupal 8 site on. 

You have chosen one of the built-in color schemes (flavors) from the theme settings, and you’re starting out with using some of your other corporate branding elements, such as your logo.

New version of Level+ for Drupal 8 now out — free for existing users

In a nutshell: the field_collection based implementation has changed to a paragraphs-based

For the initial implementation and commercial release of Level+ for Drupal 8 we used the module Field Collection to implement the highlight, special feature, and standard feature fields of the Product and Service content types.

At that time, it was not yet clear whether one should be using the Field collection or the Paragraphs module on Drupal 8. Time has shown, however, that the Paragraphs module is the way to go.

The major issue that popped up with Field collection is that it does not support translations, at least yet. This is why we have decided to change our initial implementation to be based on the Paragraphs module.

All future releases of Level+ for D8 will be using the paragraphs module. It is recommended that you proceed with the update to ensure compatibility. If you do not wish to perform this update just make sure that you keep the field_collection module updated.

Meet Showcase+, a brand new Drupal 8 theme with a gorgeous semi-flat design and a ton of features

It’s been a few years now that flat design took the world by storm — until the world started realizing its usability drawbacks and limitations. Great though it may look, all flat design lacks important signifiers of interactivity deteriorating the user’s experience. And that’s just one thing. And everyone started noticing those issues. And everyone started discussing them.

So, would this mean that we would have to go back to skeuomorphism with all the gloss and patterns and textures?

Nah.

Still, something better than all-flat looks was needed, something to add depth to the User Interface.

During these same years we got a brand new tool or, better, toolset, which enables us to achieve visually great results, in code, while keeping everything lightweight: “CSS3", with all the greatness it brings.
