Tacocat Cosplay on Instagram: "Have you used puffy foam for embroidery before? It is a thin foam meant for embroidery machines. I first tried it back in 2021 when I was working on my Hannah Alexander Zelda, and it was super easy to use! You attach it to your fabric using basting spray, for Zelda, I did this on organza since I was making some appliqués. Then you left your machine stitch on top of it. Once that is done, it's time to tear away the extra foam, and you have a nice 3d embroidery! After removing the extra foam, I added some goldwork and beads, and then I cut out the shapes with a soldering iron to finish the appliqués. Since I used this to make gold details thw wrapped around the bodice, I had to split my design into 3 sections and stitch out 5 hoops with on my innovis NQ1600
