I’m back to thinking about the parable of the persistent widow again. I’m glad He made it a story about a vulnerable woman. I’m glad that she was shown to be not only vulnerable but also quite strong as well. She hungered and thirsted for justice and did not give up in her pursuit of it. It’s good for the community of women to have this story at our fingertips. There are times when we need it. Thank you, God, for loving women.
