Here’s my favorite way to make sure they don’t go to waste. This is also a huge cost saver. To buy a gallon of ACV from the grocery store it would cost $30+ so I love this inexpensive option instead. Here’s the steps: Dissolve 1 cup of sugar in warm water Add scraps from 5-6 apples to your gallon size jar (you’ll want to use more of its truly just scraps, most my apples had a decent amount left on them) just make sure you have a few cups worth. Fill your gallon size container 2/3 the way with filtered water Add dissolved sugar mixture Add 1 cup previous batch ACV (or store bought) Mix and cover with

Rosemary Salt: - 1/2 cup coarse kosher salt - 7 or so sprigs rosemary, leaves only - 5 sage leaves - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional) - 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional) Blitz in a food processor and that’s it. I keep it in the fridge for several weeks. If you’re using a larger food processor, you might need to 1.5x these amounts in order to have enough volume to fill the food processor. What I use it for: - soups - chicken - steak - roasted potatoes (so so good) - stuffing, mashed potatoes, holiday dishes etc. - mixed into butter / sprinkled on top of a piece of bread with butter 🫶🏼 I like to keep this in the fridge for a couple weeks t
