What are…
Grecians

also known as: Hellenists or Greeks

The book of Acts refers to Greek-Jews or Hellenistic Jews. These were Jews born in a foreign country, who thus did not speak Hebrew (Acts 6:1; 9:29), nor join in the Hebrew services of the Jews in Israel, but had synagogues of their own in Jerusalem.

Old Testament KJV reference to “Grecians”

The prophet Joel refers to…

The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border. —Joel 3:6 KJV

In this context, the word “Grecians” means “Greeks” (Greek people), and this is the way it is translated in most modern English Bibles. See: Joel 3:6 NASB and Joel 3:6 ESV
