The murder of Shanda Renee Sharer (June 6, 1979 – January 11, 1992) involved a 12-year-old girl who was tortured and burned to death in Madison, Indiana by four teenage girls. Lawrence was released in 2000, Rippey in 2006. Loveless and Tackett each received a 60-year prison sentence.
