The monochromatic color scheme works very well in this magazine cover. The different shades of blue are very appealing, and the blue theme ties into the words on the magazine "new takes on something blue," which connects to the "something borrowed, something blue" phrase that is associated with weddings. I think this magazine cover is nice and simple, unlike other covers with too many words.This cover appeals to brides, or engaged women who are looking for ideas for their wedding.
