Steve Claas is a Research Coordinator at the College of Public Health. Steve is also the resident writer, editor, and graphic artist in the Office of Scientific Writing at the College.

He has been involved in environmental and public health research for more than 25 years, coauthored ~50 journal articles and book chapters, edited ten volumes of full-manuscript conference proceedings, and worked as a journal managing editor. 

Steve has a bachelor’s degree in zoology and a master’s degree in scientific and technical communication.
