About the speaker

Dr. Dana Klisanin is a psychologist, futurist, and founder of ReWilding: Lab, a research and practice hub advancing well-being through ecotherapy, the arts, and mind-body approaches. With family in Fayetteville and a deep appreciation for Northwest Arkansas’ growing investment in whole health and outdoor recreation, she sees the region as the perfect place to pioneer new ways of integrating nature into well-being and leadership development.
Dana’s journey has taken her from leading interdisciplinary research and design teams to consulting with Fortune 500 companies, governments, and NGOs. With a background in media psychology and digital culture, she has studied how technology shapes human behavior and connection—insights that now inform her work in environmental psychology and rewilding. She’s also an award-winning author whose Chronicles of G.A.I.A. series empowers young readers to step into environmental leadership and take action for a more sustainable future.
When she’s not writing, coaching, or dreaming up new ways to bridge human and more-than-human worlds, you can find her wandering the woods, practicing forest bathing, and listening to the wisdom of the wild.
