TENNESSEE MULE: Another variation on the classic Moscow Mule. Use 1.5 oz of your favorite Tennessee bourbon (preferably something smooth like Gentleman Jack), then mix with Ginger Ale (I prefer Canada Dry for this one, but Cock-N-Bull ginger beer is a good choice for more of a ginger zing), squeeze in a quarter of a lime, add a few dashes of bitters and serve with ice.
Hot Buttered Rum Mix
I offered this comforting, hot drink to guests at one of my Bunco gatherings. Everyone wanted the recipe. I like to keep a batch in the freezer for easy entertaining.—Carol Beyerl, East Wenatchee, Washington
