Abstract: Following an evolutionary-schumpeterian approach, the authors illustrate the importance of environmental innovations for sustainable economic growth and, in this context, of SME networks. In the empirical section, after describing them with reference to Italian situation, they econometrically estimate their impact on the productivity of the individual participating companies.
