'''Frédéric "Fred" Bompard''' (born 30 December 1962) is a French professional [[Association football|football]] manager and former player who is the head coach of {{French football updater|Nîmes}} club [[Nîmes Olympique|Nîmes]]. As a player, he was a [[Goalkeeper (association football)|goalkeeper]].

While playing for [[Paris FC]] in the third division of French football, Bompard simultaneously coached the reserve side of the club. He left the club in 1999. In 2002, Bompard joined [[Dijon FCO|Dijon]]. From 2007 to 2019, Bompard worked for several different clubs as assistant manager. He would go by [[Le Mans FC|Le Mans]], [[Lille OSC|Lille]], [[A.S. Roma|Roma]], and finally, [[Olympique de Marseille|Marseille]].<ref{{citation nameneeded|date=":0"October />2024}} In all these roles, he worked under the management of Rudi Garcia.<ref name=":1" />
