::::::: The preceding comment was filled with blatant lies. The only students he was working with when I was there where Iranians. He was part of an Iranian student union, and had Iranian politics all over his facebook account as well as pictures with Iranian students attending UGA at the time. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but he was extremely reverse racist against American students. I notice the commenter didn't even try to dispute that claim and said he worked with Indian and Chinese (not americans). He did superficially try to address the issue of low american student members in the grad program, but then he misgraded all the american student's projects and tried to imply that they just didn't measure up. His grading schemes were demonstrably nonsense and depended on reasoning that had nothing to do with the assignments as given to the students. American students would attempt to work with him in full faith, and he would steal their ideas, give them to students under him, and then falsely claim that the american student was to lazy to bring the ideas to fruition. He also put a large amount of effort into unexpectedly deriding people asking him for help in front of others, so that if they did end up working with him he could falsely appear as the main proponent of that person's research. He was a world class social manipulator - a skill someone develops when they know they don't have the brains for their position.
:::::::: The paragraph above is written by someone without any signatures (using TOR network/Tallahassee)! Obviously this to me is highly suspect that the author of the above paragraph is in fact the person who is caught cyber harassing Dr. Arabnia. Dr. Arabnia (as of the date of this writing) has had no Iranian students under his supervision (such things can be checked easily). Dr. Arabnia's students who were supervised by him have senior positions at Apple, Yahoo, Microsoft Research and Samsung; two of his students are now professors in academia. Demography of his graduated students: half Americans (even-though, less than half of the students in his Department are Americans) and the other half from various nations EXCEPT Iran. In fact, once again this year (2014) he won an award for being a professor who has positively impacted his Department's students' career (who selected him? The students themselves). ::::You can use Georgia Open Records to get a copy of the full report - the above are the overall concluding remarks of the report (the rest explains the procedures followed and consulting suggestions/recommendations). I have not seen the full report other than what I quoted above. My colleague's former Head of Department had seen the full report - the report was very positive for Dr. Arabnia.
