View of the Old Harbour, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan looking north towards the Causeway to Barry Island. It is intriguing to note that the Barry Railway map of 1901 shows their boundary as running through the old harbour area from the Causeway, along the former course of the River Cadoxton, taking in the breakwater seen and down to the low water shore line to the right, thus coming nowhere near the Watchtower and yet for years, a boundary marker with a circular disc atop a short bullhead rail spike, stating Barry Rly Co Boundary was placed in the pebbles just off picture to the left. That disc eventually 'disappeared' but the eroding wrought iron rail still stands jutting out of the pebbles (January 2016).
