| template_name =	this should match the name of the template you are editing.
| teamlink =	The page link to the team, where the title links to
| team =	name of team.
| season =	season to show with title (for use on seasonal articles).
| color1 = | bg1 =	color scheme for the first header of the table. default is black-on-white. should match team colors.
| color2 = | bg2 =	second-level headers, default is white-on-black.

| first = | last =	player's first and last name are all you'd need to enter in most cases
| dab =	e.g. "basketball" if the title of the player's bio ends with "...(basketball)".
| name =	Chinese names, for example, should use this parameter only. e.g. "name = Yao Ming"
| link = | alt=	use in complex cases instead of the above, e.g. "link = Mike Conley Jr." and "alt=Conley, Mike Jr." links like this Conley, Mike Jr. as it should
| num =	number on player's uniform, e.g. "10"
| nat =	nationality, e.g. "United States", "Spain", "Russia", etc. or... the corresponding 3-letter abbr. (e.g. "USA", "ESP", "RUS") from the List of IOC country codes
| nat2 =	A second nationality with the same syntax as the |nat= parameter
| pos =	See basketball positions. Acceptable values are (PG|G|SG|GF|SF|F|PF|FC|C). Column will sort in this order.
| m = | kgs =	height and weight. Meters use like this example 2.10 and for kilograms just put number without anything else.
| inj =	If inj=yes, injury symbol appears by player's name.
| year/month/day =	To show a player's age, include all three of year/month/day as separate parameters. Invalid values or missing month/day will generate an error.

| accessdate=	last date the team template is known to have been updated from above URLs ISO (DD-MM-YYYY) format please or (Month DD, YYYY), just like "cite" templates.
