What happened is that I provided Acyclonxe with signature code at the Teahouse. junior 588 obviously saw it and entered as their signature. —teb728 t c 11:25, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have redacted the signature code and fixed junior's bad signature in the Teahouse. —teb728 t c 11:54, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Query

I have a Question somebody keeps on reverting my edits ...help me plzz(junior 588 talk contribs 14:55, 9 January 2019 (UTC))[reply]

@Junior 588: Hello. For these three edits, you added "City" to the parameter "native name", where the native name of that town is not "City", so it has been reverted. In case you don't know, foreign language names are allowed in the native name parameter. If you don't understand what is "native name", you can search Oxford Dictionary of native here and name here. Remember to read policies and editing guidelines of Wikipedia. Happy editing! Abelmoschus Esculentus (talkcontribs) 15:05, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Political Synergy listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Political Synergy. Since you had some involvement with the Political Synergy redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. PamD 13:20, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Update content of PCCW

Hi,

What do I need to update the description of the PCCW page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nashmanhk (talkcontribs) 07:10, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I think you mean how you should update the description. Verifiability is one of the most important policies of Wikipedia, that is, All material in Wikipedia mainspace, including everything in articles, lists and captions, must be verifiable. All quotations, and any material whose verifiability has been challenged or is likely to be challenged, must include an inline citation that directly supports the material. Any material that needs a source but does not have one may be removed. Moreover, the material you added to the page appears to be promotional which violates the neutral point of view policy. More info left on your talk page. Regards, Abelmoschus Esculentus (talkcontribs) 07:15, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

How about I keep the first paragraph in the lead and update the rest under the main business? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nashmanhk (talkcontribs) 09:44, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. It's totally acceptable if you provide factual, verifiable content with well written English supported by reliable sources. It must also be written in a neutral point of view as mentioned above. I would suggest you to read various policies listed in the collapse box below and Help:Getting started. If you have any questions, feel free to visit the Teahouse. I'm an semi-active host there and many friendly, experienced Wikipedians can help you with any problems. Happy editing! Abelmoschus Esculentus (talkcontribs) 12:29, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

New page reviewer granted

Hi Abelmoschus Esculentus. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers" user group. Minor user rights can now be accorded on a time limited or probationary period, so do check back at WP:PERM/NPR in case this concerns your application. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encylopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:

  • Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance. so that they are aware.
  • You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.
  • If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
  • Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page. Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.

The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion.  ~~Swarm~~  {talk}  08:24, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with Handy Backup draft page

Hello! Thank you for the list of articles that you submitted to me for training on the Handy Backup page.

Unfortunately, I still do not understand what I am doing wrong. I removed all references to Handy Backup, reminiscent of commercial use, and quoted only information from reputable and authoritative sources, such as PCMag and PCWorld magazines. This information contains both laudatory and critical opinions. I also wrote all facts about Handy Backup in a neutral tone.

I ask for your advice. How else can I improve my article about Handy Backup?

Best regards, Loonieeex (talk) 09:40, 14 January 2019 (UTC)Loonieeex[reply]

@Loonieeex: I did not submit anything to you. Is this an error or something? Do you have any major connection to the subject? Abelmoschus Esculentus (talkcontribs) 09:43, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata weekly summary #347

Great script!

The da Vinci Barnstar
Your SATG script is amazing! I have one small quibble, which is the use of "required" for the justifications: users may assume those fields are required in a technical sense for the template to work without error, which is not the case, and I don't want to accidentally discourage use through that assumption. In fact, justifications aren't even "required" in a guideline sense, just highly recommended. But otherwise, what a great tool to make it easier to use the source assess templates! —swpbT • go beyond • bad idea 17:40, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Swpb: Thank you very much! Glad that you like it. These kind of user scripts are very easy to make. I changed “required” to “available”, but actually you can just leave them blank and the script will still work :) Abelmoschus Esculentus (talkcontribs) 23:19, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
