Please don't undo my edits

I am in the middle of cleaning up this article. Thank you. Smdyson (talk) 22:23, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thats fine. Just don't remove large portions of the article without reason.Imperial Monarch (DR) 22:31, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK, but if you don't like an edit it's better to revert just that one. No need to revert all of them. Thanks.Smdyson (talk) 22:34, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

I appreciate it :) Tommy (msg) 01:16, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your welcome, I gave him a few suggestions of other wikis to edit instead.Imperial Monarch (DR) 01:21, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And another quick thx, for the swift revert.  Chzz  ►  19:42, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Help

I want to become an adminitrator, how can i do thatGoodman1145 (talk) 02:35, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well first of all, I am not an Administrator, but I could help by showing you a few links. Read this to see what we want to see before becoming an admin and this to see what we don't want to see. Also read our policies to get familiar with Wikipedia. Its hard and only a few have earned the right. You may also want to read what Jimmy Wales (Wikipedia's founder) said here about admin rights. Imperial Monarch (DR) 02:48, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thankyou for your help.Goodman1145 (talk) 02:55, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also, this[1] wont get you anywhere. Just listen to the other user on your talk page. He does explain it well.Imperial Monarch (DR) 04:05, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
How can I user twinkle, i think it would help me a lot with my edits. It is hard trying to warn users of stuff, as i can get carried away with things. I want to look more "official".Goodman1145 (talk) 04:38, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Your going to have to wait until you are auto-confirmed. That takes about 4 days after your first edit. You passed the 10 edit mark, so just wait about 3 more days and you should have it. Also, because it appears you have an old version of a web browser, so you should get the latest version. I don't think it is compatible with Internet Explore, so you may want to get another web browser if you haven't already. I recommend getting Mozilla Firefox. Imperial Monarch (DR) 05:21, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thanks, I got a pretty old version of internet explorer, that might also explain why some of my edits had strange things going on. I have to say you and User:Manway have been really nice and helpfull.Goodman1145 (talk) 05:29, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The Guidance Barnstar
Thanks for your help with introducing me to Wikipedia. With your help about how to conduct myself about certain issues, and giving me information about Twinkle and other Wikipedia policies. Goodman1145 (talk) 05:41, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for rollback

Hi Imperial Monarch. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY (TALK) 01:58, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Forbes Fictional 15

Why did you remove the 2010 list, but kept the rest there? I could see either keeping the most current list or deleting the page. But I don't understand your thinking behind keeping the page, but only including old versions of the list. Can you clarify your thinking? Thanks. M Pinck (talk) 04:40, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that, I reverted my edit.Imperial Monarch (DR) 04:47, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cassie Winslow

your edits to Cassie Layne Winslow article are unconstructive and incorrect, I will continue to revert them until you stop vandalizing the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.94.143.153 (talk) 04:40, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As for your edit, please provide evidence of what you are stating in the article is true, and I'll be fine with it. I will remove the hidden comment you are using to explain your decision for your edit though. Imperial Monarch (DR) 04:52, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I will allow the edit for this reference [2]. Considering your history, Take my suggestion not to do this [3]if you have a disagreement, you can easily discuss the issue with the editor in a calm manner.Imperial Monarch (DR) 05:30, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ham

If its not made out of ham, why would they call it a HAMburger Hungry Hungry Troll (talk) 07:37, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why do they call it a Horse-fly, if it has no relation to a horse?
Ham = haunch of a pig
Hamburger = ground meat, (usually beef, but occasionally pork, turkey, or a combination of meats) Imperial Monarch (DR) 07:52, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to the club

As you recently got rollback, and have been doing some good vandal patrolling... I just wanted to welcome you to the club. We're a small (too small) group, and we don't get much thanks for our work, but know that it's critically important to this project. So even if you don't hear anything encouraging for a while, just get angry messages from people you RVed, occasionally incorrectly, hold in there, because so long as you're doing this in good faith and with some degree of accuracy, you're helping the project. I respect that. Shadowjams (talk) 08:36, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou for the welcome. I have noticed the change since I got Rollback, my page has been vandalized a lot. I'm just glad to hear I have been helping the site.Imperial Monarch (DR) 08:42, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit that does not appear in any way to meet WP:V

Please splain why [4] in any way shape or form can be considered WP:VANDALISM ??? MM207.69.137.43 (talk) 04:19, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Undid my edit, but with the others you made, you need to settle down.Imperial Monarch (DR) 04:27, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Socks

are my socks, and their markings on their user pages were partially deleted without reason by User:Wknight94, so they must be restored to be listed in Category:Wikipedia_sockpuppets_of_Wikinger as are still listed some of them. WCKingier (talk) 16:59, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I will send the information to a check-user.Imperial Monarch (DR) 12:21, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've blocked this sock as well, no reason to add {{sock}} templates if they're just using them for scoreboarding. TNXMan 20:58, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

For reverting the vandalism to my page, I appreciate it HrZ (talk) 14:38, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the revert. =) Binoy (talk) 09:23, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A question

I didn't really get what happened in my talk page and most importantly why. Can you pls explain? Thanks! Aregakn (talk) 10:35, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not too sure what I did myself. I tried to fix the problem as fast as i could because i was removing a high level of vandalism from a specific editor in a very short period of time. Imperial Monarch (DR) 10:41, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Restored your edit. Sorry about that.Imperial Monarch (DR) 10:43, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I just wanted to understand what was taking place... No problems!
Hey, there is an other interesting thing that happen. I have seen that changeswere made by only certain editors (registered) to articles and talk-pages I am watching that are not shown in the change list... Can you possibly know the reason(s)? Thanks. Aregakn (talk) 11:22, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No clue, the only thing I can recommend is going to Wikipedia:Village pump about it. They may be able to help you.Imperial Monarch (DR) 18:57, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, see... for example I am watching your talk-page and I did not get the report that you made a comment.

Try this, go to your watchlist and at the top, there is a section called "Watchlist options". See if everything says "Hide". If they all do then go yo your preferences (found at the top) and click on the Watchlist section. See if the first 6 boxes are unchecked. If they all say "hide" and the boxes are unchecked, then i have no clue. Imperial Monarch (DR) 07:54, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, all's as we feared it is. So who should I apply to in this case? Aregakn (talk) 15:48, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Try asking at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical). They may have an answer.Imperial Monarch (DR) 18:56, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I was stupid enough to get involved in edit war. [5].Imperial Monarch (DR) 10:56, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Userpage Shield
Have a barnstar, because of your cleaning of my user page (as well as others, it seems), and because I don't give out nearly enough barnstars for the good things people do. Poulsen (talk) 19:51, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am Glad to help, and I really Appreciate the barnstar. Imperial Monarch (DR) 19:57, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks.

Good job with the vandalism patrol. We need a lot more. Keep it up, and if you need help, let me know. Shadowjams (talk) 09:55, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your intervention

Appreciate the removal of the dynamic IPs 'contributions' at my User Talk page. Hope you can cope with accusations of meat puppetry. Best. RashersTierney (talk) 20:58, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see what you mean about the meat puppetry, From what I see, Its just an IP accusing you.Imperial Monarch (DR) 21:23, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gabby Pahinui false positive

Why was my edit "unconstructive" & "vandalism" and reverted? I reported the ClueBot false positive ... there is CLEARLY nothing in my edit that is vandalism or unconstructive ... it is in fact fixing a glaring error. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.10.134.119 (talk) 21:01, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed, no need to get angry. Imperial Monarch (DR) 21:09, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Angry? ANGRY?! That wasn't angry, that was mildly annoyed ... you wouldn't like me when I'm angry. Thanks for the re-re-re-revert. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.10.134.119 (talk) 21:13, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is probably best if you act a little more civil. My fault i reverted your edit. Hell, even Cluebot got it wrong. Imperial Monarch (DR) 21:18, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Since my IP will likely change soon, this is my last comment on the subject. It is probably best if you re-read civil ... in it's entirety, then have a boo at Humour ... kick back, down a brew ... or 6, and reflect on the deeper meanings. Have a good one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.10.134.119 (talk) 02:31, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

At least we can agree to put this behind us and move on.Imperial Monarch (DR) 02:47, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for removing the vandalism from my talk page so quickly ! Claritas (talk) 19:28, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your welcome, the vandal's lame protest made it pretty easy for me to catch him. Imperial Monarch (DR) 19:33, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
