(Revamped) 3 Strikes contract

Strike 1 - (where we are now). Reinstate me on March 20 (which would make the block total a full 2 weeks), with 1RR restrictions for a 60 day probation period (which would go through to May 20). If all goes well in 60 days, we can talk removing 1RR, if I slip, we then go into:

Strike 2 - 6 month ban (non-negotiable on my part, as it would have meant I had a "probation violation") and then after the 6 months I must submit to even more stringent probation terms as prescribed by the administrator (at their discretion). And even after that if things goes up in smoke, we then go to:

Strike 3 - Out, gone, done, do not pass go, do not collect $200.

To put things in real world penal terms, strike one would be equivalent to community service and an ankle bracelet, which is where we are now. Strike 2 would be jail, and strike 3 is the electric chair.

This would mean that if the terms are accepted, I would have already gone through strike 1 (a 2 week block and restrictions upon return), and have the 6 months/stronger restrictions staring me in the face if I don't play nice. In other words, I'd return with 1 strike already against me.

I've signed by the "X", so should Acroterion sign by the other X, that would mean that the deal goes into effect, and that I would be back under 1R restrictions for 60 days (after a 100 hour block), and we go from there.

So in summation (if the deal is accepted)

• strike 1 - 2 week block + 1RR restrictions for 60 days (which is where we are now)
• strike 2 - 6 month block + very stringent restrictions (upon a "probation" violation)
• strike 3 - enforced permanent ban with no do-overs

I don't appreciate the "says what he needs to say" stuff...you make it sound like I'm some sort of disingenuous con man.

If blocks aren't meant to be punitive, then why need to have mine last for such a long duration? The only answer to that is the need for all of you to "teach me a lesson". If the brains behind Wiki were that worried about disruption, they wouldn't have opened it up to start with. So the theory of a block not being punitive is in and of itself a crock. Why can't you just be honest and call a block for what it is instead of hiding behind PC BS?

And it's sure looking like an awful lot of people want me to disappear...why is that? Is it because I dare to have a different viewpoint than the rest of the hive? Wiki promotes itself as being inclusive, but if someone dares to think for themselves and not succumb to "consensus", then there's trouble. If the almighty consensus said the sky was red, would the consensus be right? Of course not, but because THE CONSENSUS said the sky was red, it MUST BE RED!

Nonsense like "we only block to prevent disruption" is just a cop out so admins can have a phony sense of a moral high ground, while acting like big shots.

You are another who is questioning my motives, and pulling the "says what he needs to say" card.

Wiki editors really do have a bad reputation of always thinking they are the smartest ones in the room, and if someone bursts their bubble they want the bubble burster to be blocked/scolded.

"The thing he needs is time away"...who are you to judge what I need? I love how everyone thinks that they know what's best for me. The only one who knows what's best for me is me. I don't tell you what medication to take for your heart, you don't tell me what I need or don't need, OK?

WarMachineWildThing I'm not the one that needs to change, the Wikipedia "community" needs to change, as there is clear discrimination against those who dare to think for themselves. The Wikipedia community (Not Wikipedia itself, as it is an inanimate object that can't do anything...it only goes as far as the people pushing the keyboard buttons makes it go) IS discriminatory against those who dare question it.
