Thank you for trying to follow the guidance, but you shouldn't write "Content in this edit is translated from the existing French Wikipedia article" when the articles you translate come from e.g. the Dutch or Spanish Wikipedia... Fram (talk) 12:16, 30 July 2024 (UTC)

Translation of articles

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please be careful though, about translating Wikipedia articles from other languages. Not all of the title needs to be translated, for example if it includes a place name. (plus if you run the title through a translating app it may not be the most accurate result in English). For example Groeve Kasteel Oost would be Oost Castle Quarry, not Quarry Castle East. Always double-check to make sure that if you are translating the title, it conforms to English grammar. ... discospinster _talk 16:53, 30 July 2024 (UTC)

Like I said above, plrase make sure that your attributions are correct: "Content in this edit is translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at pt:Monumento ao Barão do Rio Branco" doesn't match, you should change the language to indicate the original correctly.
