Dessert pizza

[edit]

It has been suggested at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dessert pizza that dessert pizza should redirect to a section of this page, which I think is a good idea. Watch this space. Andrewa (talk) 21:58, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Here is my suggestion. Andrewa (talk) 22:07, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've expanded it. PamD 07:51, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Serving Temperature

Serving temperature is listed as "Hot or Warm" but it is common for people (at least in the united states) to eat pizza cold. I've even heard people say they prefer leftover pizza cold. Is the intention of the serving temperature to specify the way pizza is initially served? I think cold pizza is a unique experience to eating hot pizza and at least deserves a mention in the article due to it being a prolific method of consuming it. @Mettalink: exactly, only in the United States. In Italy (the country that created pizza) eating cold pizza is a meaningless choice. JacktheBrown (talk) 15:34, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@JacktheBrown The article is about pizza in general and includes discussion about how it is prepared in several places, including the United States. It obviously is not a traditional serving temperature, but the article is not a discussion limited to traditional pizza. I could see the argument that being served cold belongs in the article about Pizza in The United States. I'm not certain though that it's uniquely american, hence I bring it up here. @Mettalink: why not Pizza#United States? JacktheBrown (talk) 20:17, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I eat frozen pizza sometimes, maybe consider including serving temperature as frozen too? 174.242.77.248 (talk) 15:03, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Frozen pizza must be cooked in the oven, no one eats a frozen pizza without cooking it. JacktheBrown (talk) 15:27, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
