- Chromosome complementation studies, where all or part of a chromosome is introduced into cell lines with LOH of that chromosome via microcell-mediated monochromosome transfer, have frequently been able to show reduction in tumorigenicity of the cell line thus complemented, but have only rarely been able to implicate a single gene responsible.
