Lauren Jansen | DIY on Instagram: "Pantry Phase 1 — and I LOVE IT! We started this week with a completely empty pantry. A blank slate! I added 3 unfinished drawer base cabinets that I leveled, screwed together, trimmed out, and painted! I used tangled tan paint by Sherwin Williams and went over that with a 3:1:1 ratio of aged oak, slate, and simply white minwax gel stains. I sealed it with a crystal clear matte poly and added these cute drawer pulls! I also found a way to make these soft close drawers without replacing the slides!! Head to my Pantry highlight to see how. I added a zellige hex tile backsplash in snow — mine is from Riad Tile — and I love how imperfectly perfect this tile is! A year later, I painted the shiplap with Iron Ore in satin, and we made a larger, more substantial mantel. I really love how it turned out! Mantel dimensions: 56.5" wide 7" deep 6.5" high Mantel color: @rustoleum chalked aged glaze stain You may be wondering how the mantel was added to the fireplace.
