    ASE IFA

    Ifá prevé bendiciones de riqueza a aquellas personas para las que


    este verso del odù Òdí Ògúndà haya sido revelado. Ifá advierte a la
    persona que no sea demasiado tacaña o de lo contrario estará
    perdiendo fortuna y grandes oportunidades. La persona debe
    aprender cómo ayudar a otros para que reciba incontables
    bendiciones y recompensas de Olódùmarè y los irunmoles.

    ITAN

    En la aldea de Ajaye, Malomo era un conocido hombre de negocios


    que había amasado una fortuna a través de diversos negocios con
    las aldeas y pueblos vecinos. Sin embargo, Malomo tenía fama de
    ser extremadamente tacaño y de no ayudar nunca a los
    necesitados.

    Un día, una mujer muy necesitada se acercó a la casa de Malomo


    para pedir ayuda, pero en lugar de ayudarla, Malomo ordenó a sus
    chicos que la echaran a patadas.

    Poco tiempo después de aquel incidente, Malomo anunció su


    intención de convertirse en el rey de Ajaye. Sin embargo, Esu
    Odara, se presentó para oponerse a la candidatura de Malomo al
    trono.

    Interrogado por los aldeanos, Esu Odara reveló que Malomo no era
    apto para ser rey porque no era una persona responsable y fiable.
    Esu Odara relató el incidente en el que, habiéndose transformado
    en mujer había ido a casa de Malomo a suplicarle ayuda, sólo para
    ser ahuyentado a golpes e improperios por los propios hijos de
    Malomo.

    Los aldeanos se quedaron atónitos ante esta revelación y


    coincidieron en que Malomo no podía ser un líder.

    Malomo, avergonzado de su comportamiento fue a visitar al


    babaláwo para que lo ayudara a enmendar su error. El babaláwo
    lanzó ifá para él y el odù revelado fue Òdí Ògúndà. Se le recomendó
    que apaciguara a Esu Odara como muestra de su arrepentimiento y
    así lo hizo.

    A partir de ese día, Malomo empezó a cambiar su comportamiento,


    a ser más generoso y a ayudar a los necesitados. Los aldeanos
    volvieron a respetarle y, aunque nunca llegó a ser rey de Ajaye, vivió
    el resto de su vida con la conciencia tranquila y una buena
    reputación.

    A yardstick placed on Esi


    The hard rain that breaks the molded clay, makes a fool of the goat
    (Ewure)
    Ifa divination for Malomo who was asked to use ten cowries for his
    ebo
    To all initiates
    Do not allow us to lose our fortune for only ten cowries.

    ASE IFA

    Ifá foresees blessings of wealth to those for whom this verse of the
    odù Òdí Ògúndà has been revealed. Ifá warns the person not to be
    too stingy or else he will be losing a fortune and great
    opportunities. The person must learn how to help others to receive
    countless blessings and rewards from Olódùmarè and the
    irunmoles.

    ITAN

    In Ajaye village, Malomo was a well-known businessman who had


    amassed a fortune through various business dealings with
    neighboring villages and towns. However, Malomo had a reputation
    for being extremely stingy and never helping those in need.
    One day, a very needy woman approached Malomo's house to ask
    for help, but instead of helping her, Malomo ordered his boys to
    kick her out.

    Shortly after that incident, Malomo announced his intention to


    become the king of Ajaye. Esu Odara, however, came forward to
    oppose Malomo's bid for the throne.

    Questioned by the villagers, Esu Odara revealed that Malomo was


    not fit to be king because he was not a responsible and reliable
    person. Esu Odara recounted the incident where, having
    transformed into a woman he had gone to Malomo's house to beg
    for help, only to be chased away with blows and expletives by
    Malomo's sons.

    This revelation stunned the villagers and agreed that Malomo could
    not be a leader.

    Malomo, ashamed of his behavior, went to visit the babaláwo to


    help him make amends. The babaláwo cast ifá for him and the odù
    revealed was Òdí Ògúndà. He was advised to appease Esu Odara as
    a sign of his repentance and he did so.

    From that day on, Malomo began to change his behavior, to be


    more generous, and to help those in need. The villagers returned to
    respect him and, although he never became king of Ajaye, he lived
    the rest of his life with a clear conscience and a good reputation.
