One of the great mysteries in craft is how a
pompom can take a make from WIP-looking
to perfectly finished in the stitch of a
bobble. Large granny square + pompoms?
Boom – finished blanket. Bleak beanie +
pompom? Alakazam – you’ve got yourself a
bobble hat mister.
No one knows this more than Thread
Head Knits Co, whose lustrous faux fur
pompoms are works of art all in themselves.
Their huge range covers every shade, plus
variegated pompoms, and they’ve just

Easter!
wHo’S who?
Brightening up your breakfast table with their
inquisitive little faces, these enchanting animal
egg cosies from Erinna Lee make for a whimsical
Easter welcoming party. Pop them on chocolate
eggs for the big day, then use them all year
round with the free range variety.
The cosies are made using small amounts of
ten colours. One ball of each is enough yarn to
make all six cosies, but we’ve also listed the shades
for each egg cosy separately to make things easy.
They’re great fun to make for the family, and
friends, too – who’s going to be who?
