Reading Strategy Cards
This is a perfect resource to include in my students' INB this year. It will be a great tool for them to refer back to throughout the year. This will also be helpful in small group to explicitly name and teach the reading behaviors and strategies that I'm teaching.
Reading Comprehension Bookmarks
These little reading bookmarks are such a great student resource. I love giving them to students after I have taught them a specific reading strategy or skill. Students can use them during independent reading or take them home as part of their homework. On the front students are given an overview of each reading skill or strategy and the back includes thinking stems and question stems to help students apply the reading skills to their own books.
