Busy hands, calm mind 💆🏽‍♀️

Aka learning to put down my phone and pick up a needle and thread! I usually wind down with a good tv show at night but often I’ll find myself ALSO looking at my phone at the same time, it’s such a bad urge, I always need busy hands! But this year I’ve swapped scrolling before bed for what I like to call couch crafts (first it was beaded bags and now embroidery) and it has been such an amazing switch. I have to say, a little bit of reality TV and embroidery is the BEST wind down I have ever experienced. I have honestly never slept so well! Nightly craft wind down has proven to be so good for my brain, anddddd I’ve worked out that I can pretty much MAKE all my Christmas presents this way.
