Many of my clients at @ouidadnyc ask how to style their curls quickly. Here’s my fast version of the "rake and shake" technique, perfect for when you're short on time!

1️⃣ Apply leave-in conditioner and detangle with a comb or brush.
2️⃣ Part your hair and apply styling product with your hands, we really want to smooth it out with fingers!
3️⃣ Use praying hands to create thicker clumps, or separate with fingers if you want smaller curls.
4️⃣ For looser waves, shake or stretch your hair. For tighter curls, scrunch it up!
5️⃣ Once fully dry, squeeze and shake your hair to break up the crunchiness.
