My favourite method is using a series of games that are fun and engaging for the puppy and provide them with lots of reward for being calm in their crate. I find this is also the best way to get them used to being in their crate without stress. Our favourite crate games include: 🐾 In and Out Toss a treat into the crate for your dog to follow, then toss a treat out of the crate for them to follow out. Thank you. ➡️➡️Daytime Crate Training ✅Puppies hate to be alone and one of the hardest things new families face is leaving the puppy in the crate. ✅The best advice I can give is it takes practice over and over from day one. ➡️Many have the misconception bringing an 8’week puppy home they can stay in a crate for a few hours within a week or two.
