I wanted to really make this space feel as updated and modern as possible so we custom made our own wood covers!   We cut pre-primed pine wood to 2.25 inch slats and attached 3 to the front of each section leaving gaps for ventilation. We broke the covers into 3 sections (each 7 foot in length) since our wall was so long. The height for our covers was about 8 inches. The width of the top is 4 inches.
