this world is an ocean. deep. complicated. and ever-changing. everything comes and goes. with the rhythm of waves. sometimes violently. crashing down on us. sometimes so softly. that we hardly notice. but we feel it. for whenever we try to hold on. to a person. a place. an emotion. it’s slipping through our hands. just like water. and in those moments. when we realize. that nothing lasts forever. it’s an art to keep our heads. above water.
