I’m getting started on a new stained glass terrarium design. Cutting the clear sections out can be a little tricky, so I thought I would share a bit of the process. I want this design to have an unobstructed view, so I try to minimize the lead lines by cutting out the larger sections on my saw. This terrarium will incorporate some beautiful colored art glass so when I get a sunny day I’ll share the final piece! #stainedglass #terrarium #artglass #artprocess #handmade

It's noodle time 😍 I add noodles & stringers to almost all my glass art - Why? I use them to emphasise certain lines in the design, or to break up areas, or to enhance an angle, or to draw the eye to a certain point. I also like the feel of them 😁 This is the final stage of Earrings - so once these noodles are stuck in place, it's ready for a final fuse. Did you know? In glass, stringers are the thin ones, noodles are wider ... But they're all terribly fragile before fusing 🙂 ... #glassart...
