And a twist on paper piecing. Here I’ve pieced my scraps onto a roll of adding machine tape 2 3/4″ wide. When trimming the edges I measured an additional 1/4″ in to each side and machine basted down each outer edge of the paper tape. It made removing the paper easier and kept the pieces from stretching too much … also gave me a seam line to follow when joining the patterned white strips. This quilt is 26 x 34 …
