This vintage Navajo cuff bracelet features a large, gorgeous, natural pyrite-flecked turquoise stone from the Morenci mine in Arizona, all atop a split wire shank adorned with simple bars on either side of the bezel and frame. Note that the pyrite in this piece has a slight warm sheen. The bracelet is a classic circa 1950s to 1960s design, and of course, in those days the price of turquoise was low, and it was not uncommon for silversmiths to use large stones like this in a single piece. This is an absolutely incredible sterling (stamped) cuff with stunning pieces of what I believe to be Royston Turquoise. The cuff is signed but I could not make what it says or determine the maker. Based on style and craftsmanship, I believe that the maker is Diné/Navajo. The centerpiece of turquoise measures 2 1/8 inches (including setting) and the side pieces are 1 1/2 inches (including settings). The inner diameter of the cuff measures 2 5/16 inches and there is a 7/8 inch gap. This is truly a statement piece!
