Remember that you can always change your composition and make the painting exactly what you want! | By MollysArtistry | This is going to be a super bright and colorful painting and it's also a good reminder that in fluid art you can change your painting and work until you get a product that you really love. So this is going to be a tropical straight pour where I layer the paints into the cup and then pour them onto the canvas. The way that you layer them is so important and the way that you pour them out is important as well because it will change your design. So in this one, instead of pouring it into circles and rings, I'm just slightly moving the cup and allowing the colors to come out. The way that I am moving my hand changes the way the colors come out of the cup. And it was there in the middle that I didn't really care for the design. So, I'm going to go ahead and stretch this out after popping the air bubbles and if this happens to you and you stretch it out and you don't really care for it, just realize that you can either tilt the painting again, you can pour directly over it, you could swipe through it in some areas, there are multiple things that you can do to change your composition. The bright orange and the red color are super beautiful but they took over just a little bit and the white that I had added to the cup the acrylic paint it tinted the colors just a little bit and I didn't care for that as much So now I decided to pour directly over this again and leave out the titanium white paint. I really loved these colors. The orange and the magenta and the red next to the green and the yellow created a beautiful color combination and it really does have a super tropical feel to it. I also took care with the way that I poured the center as when I stretched that out, that is going to be the largest part of the design. I'm so happy that I tried again with this one. I always hate to waste the paints or waste a canvas and I really wanted to make this color palette work. I absolutely love how this one ended up turning out. The color stayed super bright and beautiful. That's because of the gloss medium that I add to my pouring medium. I love the center. Super soft lines on the outside. Really ended up happy with this one.

59K views · 1.1K reactions | Metallic Surprise! A rich and elegant metallic liquid puddle pour with marble fun to create the lines! | This metallic creation is balanced with black and white liquid puddles, the an injection of marble fun to create such interesting lines and patterns.... | By Mark J Ratcliffe Art | Hi everyone, it's Mark. I hope you're okay. So today I'm puddling some paints on a canvas. And you'll notice that along with the black and white. I'm using just metallic paints. So I've got a bronze, a gold, a silver, a copper and a rose gold. And I'm combining those with puddles of black and white. The idea is to use a mar to create some really interesting lines but the marble will also help infuse those puddles of paint together. As I drop the marble into the puddles of paint the marble will help move the paint from one area to the other. The marble gets covered and coated in the puddles of paint and it's the marble that brings those lines together and create so lines on the piece. So you can see here I've picked up my canvas. The marble is already immersed into the paint and I literally tilt the canvas from side to side. Moving the marble across the surface of the canvas whilst it's in that paint and you can see how those colours are infusing and merging together. I'll take you in for a close up now just so you can see all those lines that the marble has created and how all those colours are now infused together. And what we'll do is we will stretch the paint out further across the canvas and down the edges. That's going to expand the pattern that's already been created by the marble. So I take my time and I turn my canvas and tilt my canvas in different directions. That's what helps spread the paint out across the surface area of the canvas. I then bring the paint back on itself to allow me to move the paint and the pattern across the canvas and cover the white area of the canvas. I want all my paint to cover the surface area. When I'm tilting I enjoy the process itself. Of course I want a good end result but don't forget to just enjoy being in that moment in that present moment and really seeing how those lines expand and watching the paint as it flows across the surface area of the canvas. It's at this point that you can look at your composition and the overall pattern that you're creating on top. Once the paint has fully covered the surface area you can tilt it to get a pattern that you're happy with. You can see here I got various tones from the colours that I've used and adding the black and the white along with all those metallic colours has created a really interesting metallic design. I'm really happy with this one.
