I had the leftover colors from the beautiful pearl puddle pour painting and green that I did and I had my pearl colors as well left over. So I take them all and apply them all to the canvas and it looks honestly kind of like a mess when you start out but as you swipe through and as this painting dries, all the colors come to life. I try to layer some of the pearls on top and go back over it with some of the regular colors as well so that when it dries, you'll get a combination of each of them. I decided to swipe through this one with primarily a black swipe catalyst and that is to help those pearl colors really show up. The places where I don't swipe, those will dry with pearl and regular colors in them and it creates a little bit of extra interest and design. Look at how pretty those green colors are. I wanted to add a few extra little swipes throughout. Just adding a little bit to the design. Now, it is time to stretch this one out and this is really where the painting comes to life. The pearl colors, you can see them start to show up a little bit. The regular colors, you really start seeing where the design is going to go and the swipe is so perfect for this technique. It creates the coolest lacing and cells. This one had a little bit of some jagged edges and so, I wanted to try to smooth out just a little bit of that and so, I tilted a little bit more off the canvas to it out. This is how it dried. Can you imagine how this painting started and what it looked like with the wet paint and look at how many colors showed up. It's beautiful. It looks like there's metallics there. It's got a little bit of purple, pink, and green is definitely the star. I was really happy with how this one came out and I hope that you enjoyed this video. My Green Kitchen Sink Painting.

Each of the middle colors shows up so pretty on each corner. #art #artwork #painting #paint #acryl #artist | By MollysArtistry | This was actually my first try at the Four Corner Blowout even though you have already seen a metallic one and one in peacock colors. I had originally wanted to do this concept to really explore color and how each of the petals is perceived on each of the colors. I'm using paint and water for this. I love the way that it softens the petals as I blow them out using very liquid paints and I will say this was the hardest part trying to figure out with a blow dryer how to get these colors into their color blocks on the canvas I love blues so of course my first try at it I wanted to use a color combination that I knew would work well so I have a turquoise blue there. I have a very light almost periwinkle type blue. It is a grayish blue and then I have a pressuren blue and a the low blue. And for the inside colors I wanted to do a pop of green and a pop of gold. But I think I did pretty good with the blow dryer getting those colors onto the canvas. Now in art and composition a lot of times you use odd numbers so three petals or five petals but I actually enjoyed having the different four blowouts on this one. You can have symmetrical designs or asymmetrical designs and it's really just about what is pleasing to you and what's pleasing to the viewer. But I chose originally the four petals so that I could cover up the lines of where the colors actually met and you can do this in multiple different ways but I feel like moving the blow dryer those extra times over the colors make it look not so symmetrical and really do give it an asymmetrical look. I was so happy when this worked. I really, really loved it and I love the green and the yellow and the gold with this color combination but you can see how much brighter the colors look on the prussian blue and the Thalo Blue base but I'm so happy with this one. It is just a beautiful splash of color. Love it.
