Unfortunately that's not possible with the installation script (sbfspot-config) |

Unfortunately only partly success. For some reasons, teh script only tracks one inverter instead of all 10. Do I have to tweak that somewhere? |

First results are not that satisfying; only 3 inverters send data to PVout. Looks like the DB or the PV upload service has trouble with 10 scripts running..hmmm. Unfortunately my installation is far away (and no access to logs), so I have to schedule a whole day for the maintenance... |

today I gave it a second try; but even after 4h tweaking the scripts it is not working properly. I guess my knowledge in terms of DB access and scripting comes to a limit here. But I found out that not the inverter reading is the problem (that works with a daytime script that starts 10 inverter reading jobs and they all create adequate output data of all 10 inverters in the logs). It is the upload deamon that works weird or I didn't get how it works (most likely :). |

Today, I installed the reverse SSH. At home I identified that the daydata, that are read and logged, is not visible in DB. A select * from vwdaydata delivers nothing. In the reading log I saw that time cannot be set correctly (Failed to get current plant time (-1) |

Finally I got it solved. Together with a friend of mine I created a script (alternative daydata script) that checks for sunrise every day and sets the inverter time as a very first SBFspot request in the morning. A successful time set is stored in a file. Then - in dependance of a successful time set (file) - SBFspot starts to read the inverter data regularly. That works quite well for all the 10 inverters. |

Hi together, I'm Ralf a I try to install SBFspot on a Raspi 3. Plan is to connect few SMA inverters via BT and upload to PVOutput. The physical PV installation is remote and I wanted to pre-install all the system at home prior to setting it live onsite. But when I start the config file, system is asking for the bluetooth adresses of the inverters - which are obviously not found as they are not in reach. Then the script stopped with an error. Question: Is there a possibility to skip/tweak this step without breaking the install procedure? Sorry for rookie question - I'm not that experienced with linux systems...did a little bit unix as student ...but 100years ago, roughly ;) So, really appreaciate any help and many thanks in advance....Ralf
