Hi !

I stumbled on https://github.com/hoowa/PHP-FRICC2
which appears to be a encoder for PHP code that appears to be able to be statically built so I thought that it could be a replacement for tonyenc ?

@jingjingxyk thanks for your reply, but can it be used with micro sapi ? What I want is to encrypt the PHP files in the PHAR file ?
I am not fully sure how to understand your reply
Please elaborate ?

I now tried to manually made the changes of your commit and rebuild the SPC phar.
Now when I do

In DependencyUtil.php line 169:

  Extension [fricc2] not exist !

I think there is an incosistency between 'fricc2' and 'fricc2load' ?

If I use fricc2load in the build command:

I tried to add fricc2 support, but unfortunately it can only be used with cli and cannot be used in micro.sfx. Its loading procedure does not compatible with phpmicro (we will get plaintext output for encrypted php file):

What PHP version are you building micro with ? When I tested fricc2 yesterday (without spc) I got the EXACT same output "hellokitty" etc. UNTIL I compiled against PHP 8.1.30 (and not PHP8.2 which I was using)
This was in CLI obviously...

But my point was that fricc2 won't work with 8.2.x - I think it needs PHP 8.1.x to avoid producing garbage ?

The most important step is running ./init_key command before any compile commands.

My current test result:

Tested on my MacBook (M3), with bcmath,phar,tokenizer,posix,pcntl,curl,zlib,fricc2load,session extensions
Tested with PHP 8.1.30, 8.2.24 and 8.3.12
All micro.sfx does not work (output the encrypted bytes)
All cli works (output hello world which is in my original php code)

If you are stuck on micro sanity check, you can manually run source/micro_ext_test.exe to see which extension not correctly included.

I can only test your custom extension fricc2load, and other extensions have to be removed. But for now I removed inotify,pdo_sqlite,pdo_pgsql,nodeid,sapihelper,signal_handler and successfully built with cli and micro SAPI on my mac (no additional patches).

If you could build after removing custom extensions, the problem may be with your custom extensions.

And btw I recommend compiling both cli and micro at the same time during your test build to enable sanity check for extensions.
