Prerequisites

• I searched for any existing report about this website issue to avoid opening a duplicate.
• I can reproduce this website issue in a new, unmodified web browser profile with Dark Reader installed as the only extension.

Website Issue Description

Tridactyl transparent overlay elements appear white

This isn't a website but another plug-in, so I have added an issue to the Tridactyl repo as well in case it is more easily fixed on their end, however this seemed the most appropriate place to deal with the issue.

When using the Tridactyl addon any themes with transparent iframes show white boxes when darkreader is enabled. This seems similar to #9149 and is mentioned in an issue on the Tridactyl repo tridactyl/tridactyl#4576.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Install & enable https://github.com/darkreader/darkreader addon
2. Install & enable Tridactyl addon
3. change colour scheme to midnight or gruvbox by typing either:
   • :colourscheme midnight
   • :colourscheme --url https://github.com/jrolfs/gruvbox-material-tridactyl/releases/download/v0.1.1/dark-soft.css gruvbox-material-dark-soft
4. Type : to open the command window
